Staff Development

Six (6) days of TEKS-based CURRICULUM TRAINING, per grade level, will be required throughout a school year for TEXAS schools/districts. Each session will consist of up to 6 hours of virtual professional development per day, depending on discussion/Q & A, with about a 1 hour lunch break.

Sessions will include a maximum of 30 participants and are scheduled Monday through Friday; however, Saturdays may also be considered based on availability, with a negotiated reasonable training schedule.

All materials/manipulatives, every six weeks, will be the sole responsibility of the contracted school/district and must be a commitment prior to contracting.

For consistency and success in the implementation of the program, teachers MUST attend all six (6) curriculum sessions.

The curriculum packet provided is only for use during the contracted licensed school year by a participant who receives training solely by a PEARLIZED MATHEMATICS CONSULTING representative and shall be destroyed when the contract expires or is terminated. As a result of the copyright, by no means is the document, in part or in full, to be reproduced or electronically transmitted to any source, in any form, unless negotiated by both parties. Reproduction of student blackline masters is limited to the instruction in the contracted school/district within the contracted school year.

Currently, virtual professional development (via Zoom) will be conducted as a priority over in-person trainings, in consideration to the security and safety of all district staff and PMC consultants.
